How to deal with emotions before an interview?

Preparing for an interview can be nerve-wracking, and it's normal to experience a range of emotions. To calm your nerves and boost your confidence, try the following tips.
1) Practice deep breathing.
Practicing deep breathing can help activate the relaxation response in your body and reduce stress.
2) Visualize yourself as successful.
Close your eyes and imagine that you are speaking in an interview. See how you confidently answer questions and make a great impression.
3) Get moving.
Exercise can help release pent-up energy and reduce stress. Try taking a walk or doing some stretching before your interview.
4) Talk to someone.
Sharing your feelings and concerns with a friend or family member can help you prioritize and give you confidence in yourself.
5) Preparation, preparation, preparation.
The more prepared you are for the interview, the more confident you will feel. Research the company and position, practice answering general interview questions and dress professionally.
