There are many specializations in IT that you can move to from business analysis.
Let's consider some of them:
1. Data Scientist: Business analysts and data scientists have a lot in common in their work. They both use data to extract valuable insights that can help an organization make better decisions. Data Scientists use machine learning algorithms, statistical methods, and other technologies to analyze large amounts of data. They develop and train machine learning models for a variety of tasks such as sales forecasting, marketing campaign optimization, and more.
2. Business Intelligence Analyst: This specialty is also related to data analysis, but with a focus on data processing and visualization for business. Business intelligence analysts collect, analyze and visualize data to help businesses make informed decisions. They can work with various data sources such as databases, CRM systems, social networks and more.
3. Product Manager: This specialty requires an understanding of the technical aspects of software development and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. The Product Manager is responsible for developing the product strategy, working with the development team, and communicating with customers.
4. Project Manager: A project manager in IT is a person who is responsible for planning, managing and controlling a project in accordance with established goals. They work with teams of developers, designers, and other professionals to deliver end results on time and on budget.
5. Cybersecurity Analyst: Cybersecurity analysts are responsible for protecting computer systems and data from cyber attacks. They analyze potential vulnerabilities, develop protection strategies and
respond to security incidents.
6. DevOps Engineer: DevOps engineers are responsible for creating and managing automation systems for software development and deployment. They work with development teams to speed up the development process and improve product quality.
7. Cloud Architect: Clouds are becoming more and more popular for data storage and processing, and cloud architects are responsible for designing and deploying cloud infrastructures. They must have a deep understanding of cloud technologies and best practices for their use.

Each of these specialties require unique knowledge and skills, but they can all be good options for a business analyst who wants to broaden their horizons and gain new career opportunities.
